A Melodramatic Medical Mystery

You are a Care Provider at Hippo-crates General, a hospital in a world in which magical and mundane forces conspire to harm the health of the public. Luckily, every supernatural disease can be cured... if only you and your team can diagnosis it in time.

Every illness has three factors listed in the DSMMM: Category, Family, and Disease. Each factor has a distinct Symptom that empathetic Providers can detect and a definitive Sign that science can confirm. If you figure out the three factors for the Super- and -Natural elements of a disease, you have it licked (metaphorically...actually licking not recommended).

Your Provider has two Specializations. Unless your card provides a static effect, you must give up the card whenever you use a specialization, as each can only be used once per patient. Whenever you or your team uses one of your special powers, hit the button for that Specialization on your screen, follow the instructions, and inform the Patient.

Every Provider can also perform five basic moves. These moves use "Expertise" (the poker chip in front of you). Providers without Expertise suffer "Burnout" and can't interact with the Patient. Providers can regain an Expertise point if they call for a scene of "Medical Drama" with another member of the team. After the roleplaying, the Patient will give back the Expertise token.
